description Aiming to the bypass unit of large capacity special power supply, a novel method of model selecting for high speed fuse is proposed, which uses the current accumulation in time namely Current Thermal Effect Theory. The parameters calculation of a large engineering project has been made, and then the parameters selection of the fuse has been verified by various simulating methods. The conclusion reflects that the fuse ’s parameters can meet the requirements of the system.
