Summary:The key category of this article is entrepreneurship, which, along with innovativeness, leads to increase the of economies flexibility - reacting to the dynamics and changeability of the environment and the optimal use of existing resources. The purpose of this article is to analyze the possibilities of entrepreneurship development at school basing on the use of Albert Bandura's socio-cognitive theory. The starting point is the definitional analysis and links between entrepreneurship and innovation. Then we point out the advantages of learning and developing entrepreneurship in a public school environment, with attention paid to international experiences. The focal point is giving the pupils the opportunity of developing their entrepreneurial spirit by practicing it in pupils' companies and evaluating them.
