| Summary: | It analyses the DC capacitor voltage imbalance mechanism of cascaded STATCOM based on unipolar dual frequency carrier phase-shifted SPWM(CPS-SPWM) modulation, presents a DC capacitor voltage control strategy based on distributed control by changing the instantaneous active power input to single module. The strategy can be realized in each inverter respectively and there is no coupling with other inverter units, what??s more, additional test of other physical quantities is not necessary. It has the advantages such as high reliability, easy implementation, etc. Simulation and prototype test results show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the strategy. |
