Description
Summary:This paper presents a new mitigation proposal to the AC corrosion in the metallic pipeline due to its interference with transmission lines (TLs) based on inserting the polarization cell (KOH-PC), and fuzzy logic controller (FLC) along the pipeline. Impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) confirmed to be an appropriate technique to control AC corrosion. The approval of corrosion protection widely relies on the distribution of DC voltage along the route of the pipeline. This study aims to achieve the optimum DC voltage distribution. Finally, this paper will be useful in the improvement of cathodic protection performance, especially with the presence of KOH-PCs.
