Description
Summary:News of foreigners who visited the Russian State in XVI - XVII centuries attracted explorers due to their evaluations and interpretations of Russian history events, often considerably different from similar data in Russian sources. The analysis of reflections related to the neighbors of Moscow tsardom - Crimean Tatars, is of great interest as the Russian State had to wage continuous wars with them. Information about those wars, and the attitude of Crimean Tatars to them we find in the works of such famous foreigners like G. Fletcher, J. Margeret, I. Massa etc.
