Summary:This research aims to contribute to studies of Egyptian folklore by collecting and analyzing traditional Bedouin costumes for women in Al-Husseiniya Center, Sharkia Governorate. In terms of its components and methods of decoration, in an attempt to preserve this heritage that has been subject to extinction and disappearance due to rapid technological and cultural development, this research has followed the descriptive and analytical approach. Field material and photographs of traditional costumes and their accessories were collected from some women who live in tents and are called (Sharqiya Arabs) in the Al-Husseiniya Center. The study also found that these costumes have not been used until now except on special occasions, and that there has been a lot of change in the shape of the costumes and the way they are decorated. Accordingly, the researcher emphasizes the necessity of collecting and protecting this cultural heritage represented by traditional costumes
