Summary:To quest for a method based on CT technology to measure the internal pH value of apples, the Fushi apples were scanned by X-ray CT machine which could output CT images of the section of apples. Correlation model and three-dimensional pictures which reflect the internal acidity distribution of apples were built, too. At the same time, another experiment was done to verify the preciseness of this model. The result shows that it was significant linear correlation between the CT and pH value, and average error of the model was 0.11%. It was suggested that the method treated by CT image is feasible in prediction of acidity.
