| Summary: | A retrospective analysis of surgical treatment of patients with fractures in the setting of osteoporosis was carried out. The highest fre quency of unsatisfactory results obtained in cases with proximal femur and spine fractures was revealed. It is concluded that the main cause of unsatisfactory results is the increased bone tissue resorption around the implants or endoprostheses, which leads to instability and metal constructions’ migration. |
