Summary:The article focuses on Geo Bogza’s poetry and journalism. As a poet, he is defined as a vanguard poet, associated with Walt Whitman, Ezra Pound, Lautréamont and Pindar. As a journalist, he was supporter of the so-called “literature of experience”, characterizing the works of A. Malraux, A. Gide, James Joyce, Giovanni Papini. Bogza himself believed that an intense, fulfilling life can only be achieved through a journalist’s mentality. His art is combined with journalism, in order to offer a complete description of the reality.
