Description
Summary:This narrative review of the healthcare industry’s human resource management (HRM) displays this sector’s unique issues and solutions. HRM in the healthcare sector includes recruiting and retention, strategic planning for connecting personnel management with company goals, and continual learning and development to adapt to technological and regulatory changes. Important problems include improving patient outcomes, maintaining certification and labor standards, promoting mental and physical wellness, and controlling a high staff turnover rate. The suggested solutions involve creating an environment where employees’ needs and interests are prioritized, using HR analytics to make data-driven decisions, promoting flexibility in work hours, and enhancing communication to encourage trust and collaboration. Patient care can be improved by implementing these strategies, which will also greatly increase employee happiness. For instance, implementing flexible work patterns based on HR analytics has been shown to lower attendance and staff tiredness, resulting in a more motivated and effective healthcare team. The result of these actions is a more robust and effective healthcare environment.
