| Summary: | The high-voltage device on the roof of the high-speed train are always running in the open air,which are easily polluted by the atmospheric pollutants. The simulation calculation was done to the flow field characteristics of the pantographic insulator region for the roof of the high-speed train, the flow field structure was analyzed. Three designs of the train roof devices were assessed. It has been found that the side panel design increased the wind velocity in the roof area and reduced the contamination level of the insulators. |
