Description
Summary:This article explores the possibilities of integrating the social Web in educational context, using an educational approach focusing on active citizenship, capable of instilling and developing in learners soft transversal skills through committed and engaging practices such as volunteering. To this end, an inductive analysis was first carried out on the scientific and grey literature regarding the practices that these digital tools generate in relation to the notion of active citizenship, followed by a critical comparison of the results obtained with those drawn from the analysis of school content intended for the teaching/learning of French in Algerian 3rd-year secondary classes. The results show that it is possible to initiate an educational content focused on active citizenship and development of soft skills thought social Web, if the latter is used not only as tool for technical protocols but as tool promoting sociability.
