En la primera parte de este ensayo, en el que se debate con Ferreira, Ibáñez y Sampaio (2009) con motivo de su artículo sobre las reglas y la casualidad en el baloncesto,se llegó a la conclusión de que la naturaleza de los juegos deportivos como el baloncesto es jurídica, y que esta es la única forma de definirlos a partir de sus propiedades intrínsecas. En esta segunda parte se presentan y aplican los elementos necesarios para un análisis de esta naturaleza jurídica, lo que nos permitirá, por un lado, afirmar que el fútbol y el baloncesto pertenecen a la misma clase de iusmotricidad y, por otro lado, identificar las fuentes de variabilidad en la acción de juego del baloncesto por lo que a su lógica jurídica respecta. En cualquier caso, la principal conclusión de este estudio es que aún no disponemos de las herramientas necesarias para valorar cuantitativamente la relación entre la complejidad de las reglas y la cantidad de información del baloncesto, aunque podemos concebir la lógica interna del baloncesto como una función de distribución de probabilidad de aparición de las distintas consecuencias práxicas atribuibles a este deporte.

Abstract. In the fist part of this essay, in which we debate with Ferreira, Ibáñez and Sampaio (2009) about their article on rules and chance in basketball, we came to conclude that the nature of the sporting games such as basketball is to be legal entities. In this second part we present and employ the necessary elements for the analysis of this legal nature. On the one hand this allows stating that both football and basketball belong to the same class of iusmotricity; and on the other hand it helps to identify the sources of variability in the playing action of basketball as far as its legal structure is concerned. In any case, the main conclusion is that we still lack the means to assess quantitatively the relationship between the complexity of the rules and the amount of information in a basketball game although we still can try to understand the internal logic of basketball as a probability function of the different practical consequences attributable to that sport.
