| description | In order to adapt to the growing trend of industrial tourism in Meizhou City, it is necessary to design a green building that conforms to the ecological “multi-pavilion”, so the building integrates three pavilions: the exhibition hall, the prefabricated vegetable experience restaurant, and the prefabricated vegetable mini-processing plant. With a roof garden, natural ventilation, natural lighting and green building materials, the building combines traditional single-pavilion design with modern technology, taking into full consideration the concept of sustainable development, which not only provides a favorable visiting environment for visitors, but also meets the needs of different types of MICE activities without compromising the visitors' experience. The energy saving potential of passive cooling strategies such as shading devices, upgraded glazing, wall and roof insulation and green roofs were evaluated using DesignBuilder software. The results showed that the addition of insulation could significantly reduce the cooling load by about 52% inside the building. The design uses modern technology to analyze four passive strategies - exterior green space, thermal mass walls, window-to-wall ratios (WWR), and shading - and shows that thermal mass walls and exterior green space are particularly effective in reducing cooling energy demand by up to 25%. Adjusting the WWR and adopting solar shading also saved energy by minimizing direct solar gain and improving natural ventilation. Ultimately, the design will be a vibrant, green and distinctive building that meets the needs of the industrial tourism development in Meizhou City and will become a new landmark building for industrial tourism in Meizhou City, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience. |
