| Summary: | There are seven hundred ongoing urban development projects in the dense areas of Greater Paris. In face of such effervescence, the actors, professional practices and most sought after skills change along with the metropolitan territory. This article presents the work of a research collective which, to grasp and understand ongoing changes, interviewed a dozen top-ranking spatial planning professionals. Their professional trajectories and practices and their points of view on current transformations are presented through five professional figures and four major skills necessary to plan an effervescent Greater Paris. |
