Summary:A new type of jogged magnetic transmission system is presented, which combine motor and reducer. This system is simple structure, manual programming, high transmission ratio, low cost and high reliability. The FEM model and mathematical model were established according to the analysis of structural feature and operational principle, and magnetic vector potential strategy (MVP strategy) was adopted. The static performance is get, then the effect of magnetic potential, air gap and material on the transmission performance are analyzed. The merits and faults of this system are presented after comparing this system with existing motor product.
