Summary:The study aimed to tackle the critical problem of glass waste accumulation in landfills by modifying glass waste into a valuable resource. The process involved meticulous cleaning and purification of the glass waste, which was transformed into a suitable stationary phase for separating crude oil. The modified glass waste was used to fractionate the crude oil into distinct components using the SARA (Saturate, Aromatic, Resin, and Asphaltene) analysis method. The chemical composition accuracy of the separation process was validated through spectral analysis, which highlighted the effectiveness of the modified glass waste as a stationary phase. This research demonstrates the potential for repurposing glass waste and offers an environmentally friendly and economically viable solution for crude oil separation. It underscores the importance of recycling materials for multiple purposes and addressing environmental challenges through innovative approaches
