description The main goal of this work was to develop a product whose cellulose is extracted from kiwi branches. The product presented, Kiwiplast consists of a bioplastic film for food packaging. This way, it intends to create a circular economy and lower environmental impact. The extraction and production process were studied and scaled up to industrial level. The company would be located in Agueda, with a working force of 10 workers. An economic analysis has shown that this project requires an investment of 896 k€ and is viable and profitable.
