| Summary: | Introduction: Photography has been increasingly explored in data collection processes, as it enriches the process and allows the interviewee to take on the role of protagonist [1]. Among the methods that use images, Photovoice and Photo-Elicitation stand out in qualitative research [2]. The objective of this research was to map the development of Photo-Elicitation and Photovoice methods with adolescent mothers as data collection techniques. Methods: A scoping review was conducted from August to October 2024. The guiding question formulated was: ''How have Photo-Elicitation and Photovoice been developed with adolescent mothers as a data collection method?''. The search strategy included LILACS, PubMed, CINAHL, and Web of Science. Results: A total of 46 articles were found, mostly published in English. Ten were selected after full-text reading. Conclusion: The literature converges in considering Photo-Elicitation and Photovoice as visual and interactive resources that facilitate the communication of adolescent mothers' experiences. |
