| Summary: | The purpose of this article is to study the role of libraries in supporting the institute of entrepreneurship in the United States of America, to reveal and analyse the features of the implementation of the Libraries Build Business initiative. The research methodology is based on systemic and structural approaches, methods of logical and structural-functional analysis, case-study method, scientific objectivity, generalization, website content monitoring, content analysis, etc. The scientific novelty. For the first time for the academic environment in Ukraine, the experience of US libraries in initiating and implementing business libraries as centers for analytical research and innovative information services, which is crucial for the development of the country’s business sector, has been presented. The conclusions outline the significant role of libraries in the US business landscape as catalysts for entrepreneurship development at the local and regional levels. American libraries are characterized by a high level of development and innovation in providing business services that meet the needs of modern society. They serve not only ascultural and educational centers, but as active participants in economic development, contributing to the creation of inclusive and economically sustainable communities. Such approach allows libraries to be an important part of the infrastructure of small business, entrepreneurship and overall economic growth, providing an important resource for the economic development of the national economy. It is determined that the practical embodiment of the idea of a library business model is the "Libraries Build Business" initiative, which has become one of the key opportunities for smalland medium businesses to plan their own strategies. |
