description As China's education system undergoes significant reform, the number of schools is growing, as are the standards for teaching quality. The objective is to ensure effective supervision and assurance of teaching quality. In the study of data mining, decision support and other related theories and technologies, it is feasible to establish a set of intelligent teaching assessment systems. Based on this, the study aims to propose a software engineering teaching quality assessment system research based on Dempster’s formula and hierarchical analysis. The study first constructs a curriculum system suitable for students’ individuality, which lays a solid foundation for the personalized development of software engineering. Subsequently, the system examines the three subjects (students, teachers, and supervisors) to monitor the evolution of the classroom throughout the teaching process. This enables the identification of areas for improvement in the classroom teaching quality and the reduction of uncertainty and randomness in the assessment results, which are often influenced by the normal distribution of student scores. The results showed that the model obtained a student evaluation score of 4.318 and a supervisor score of 4.191. Hierarchical analysis was used to derive the weights of the subjects, yielding a total score of 4.2646. At the same time, the assessment system could be applied to other aspects by transforming the individual student characteristics and the assessment of teaching quality, thus making the assessment system universal.
