Description
Summary:The recreational potential of the objects of the natural reserve fund of the territory is a critical element of sustainable development aimed at preserving natural resources and improving the quality of life. The importance of developing such potential is due to the need to preserve natural areas for ecological purposes and their use for recreation against the background of growing anthropogenic transformation of the environment. In Ukraine, in particular, in the Lviv region, the development of the network of nature-protected areas, which actively began at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, slowed down significantly, not reaching the desired level of protection, and now it has practically stopped due to several objective reasons, including the impact of the war even on those regions where hostilities are not taking place. In the future, it is advisable to answer how realistic it is to achieve the declared indicators of the protected area, which exceed the current ones almost twice. At the same time, we will consider two circumstances: the existing state of the network of protected and nature-protected territories and their suitability for recreation according to the criterion of attractiveness. Since there are different models of the organization of ecologically stabilizing territories, when planning the region's development, optimal trajectories of the development of the nature reserve fund structure should be predicted based on the existing one. In this context, this work focuses on classifying PZF objects, analyzing their features, and the landscape characteristics of institutions of the Lviv region that provide recreational services. On the other hand, attention is paid to the study and comparison of approaches to the assessment of the attractiveness of the territories of the nature reserve fund with an emphasis on the diversity and attractiveness of their landscapes.
