Description
Summary:Julio Meinvielle, Tacuaras, Tecos and El Yunque against the « red infiltration» in Mexico and ArgentinaThe paper describes the link, established through the priest Julio Meinvielle, between three juveniles anti-communist and anti-Semitic organizations—the Tecos and El Yunque in Mexico, Tacuara in Argentina—in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. The relationship demonstrates the existence of common ideological features, centered on the ideas of a permanent threat against the West and the need to confront it from Latin America.
