| Summary: | The article undertakes an analysis of different foreign publications that were never previously adduced in domestic scientific thought, which reflect an integrative approach to the study of modern library phenomenon. The integrative paradigm is presented by theoretical investigations in the conditions of digitalization of modern sociocultural space. It suggests solving of problems during understanding of essential transformations of library. It is emphasized that the full manifestation of library phenomenon is possible only in conditions of balance between traditional mechanisms of interaction with the society. Therefore the idea of functional integration and migration into the digital area is considered as an exclusive basis for interpretation of the essence of modern library, as it doesn’t reflect the diversity of its practices, which correspond social demands. It is identified that unification of different approaches allows realisation of the multidisciplinary theoretical investigation of library phenomenon, the peculiarities of it’s simultaneous presence in real life and virtual environment, complete analysis of it’s special part in new sociocultural and informational space. |
