description With about twenty comic actors, including authors, promoters and collectives, Ecuador has a meager circulation within the field of world graphic literature, despite a history that is not far from the general history of the ninth art. Modulating a reading of Ecuadorian comics from the notion of minor literature proposed by Deleuze and Guattari (Kafka, pour une littérature mineure, 1975), we seek to identify Ecuadorian comics -through examples of strategies, forms and contents- with the characteristics of a minor (graphic) literature; while we present an overview of its field. Then, the minority use of a major language, the deterritorialization, the connection on the immediate-political and the collective enunciation are some clues that will allow us to outline the lines of escape for a transnational circulation of Ecuadorian graphic literature.
