description This research attempts to explore aspects of the psychological emotions expressed in the poetry of Abdallah Ibn Al-Haddad Al-Andalusi. Throughout his poetic journey, the poet experienced numerous events and circumstances that left a profound impact on his creative output. Therefore, the nature of this study necessitated the use of a descriptive-analytical approach, involving the examination of relevant theories, the description of poetic verses, and their analysis through a semiotic methodology. Since poetry is often the result of emotional impulses—such as love, joy, complaint, sorrow, and other feelings that stir the poet’s inner self and motivate his creative expression—this research seeks to penetrate the poetic text through the psychological and emotional dimensions of the speaker. At the outset, the study will define semiotic signs and their role in guiding the listener toward the speaker’s intended meaning or emotional state. Psychological emotions vary depending on the nature of the addressee within the text and their goals, as well as the external environment in which the dialogue occurs.
