| Summary: | The article discusses the productivity of the relationship between art and ed - ucation, highlighting literature as potentiation of a look which searches on both theoreti - cal issues and on human and social processes that involve the educational phenomenon. It considers that education is a constituent and constituted by culture, understanding it, hence, as human development, cultural project. It also regards that literature can be taken as representation of reality, without losing its essential character of human spirit creation, being, therefore, by its own principles and rules. This means, according to Bourdieu, that literature is the “field” or area of social relations, that has everything to do with education in order to form the citizen as the carrier of values and aspirations. |
