description According to the general principle of adhesion control, considering the characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a scheme of adhesion control is proposed, which is fit for the PMSM of metro vehicle traction. Furthermore, it is applied in Shenyang Metro Line 2. The experimental data shows that the traction of metro vehicles is smooth owing to the scheme, and can eliminate the slip / slide phenomenon, which improves the comfort of passengers.
