description GCY300II rail car bogie frame structural features were described. With TB/T 1335 — 1996, simulation framework for static strength and dynamic stress test were carried out, and correctness of the simulation model was verified by comparative analysis. Based above, structure improvement was proposed for poor welding on the frame, and static strength simulation results was compared before and after the improvement. The results showed that structural strength of bogie frame before and after improvement both met rail standards’ requirement, but the improved was more reasonable and practical.
