| description | The production processes of health services should aim to meet the health needs of social groups that constitute a particular
territory. Some time ago a reorganization of health services were proposed, with the assumption the production of care
as a user-centered work process and friendly relationships capable of producing bonds, in a production process that focuses
on technologies for relational assistance to users. Based on this, the present study aimed to analyze the health needs
and care production in a Health Unit. This study is qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory, accomplished through the
application of semi-structured interviews with 11 professionals which are part of the Family Health Team, the municipality
now studied. The results of this study indicate that one of the main aspects that hinder the production of health care is the
relationship between supply and demand, solving the problems of the unit, the difficulties in the work processes and the
lack of health professionals. We concluded that the findings of this study may contribute to the expansion of alternatives
for production of care, resulting in the improvement of the provision of healthcare in the unit studied. |
