Description
Summary:With the continuous advancement of new power system construction, the impact of uncertainty is becoming increasingly prominent. Consequently,it is urgent to enhance the flexibility of new power systems to respond to fluctuations in source load power and ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. To this end, this paper reviews methods for improving the flexibility of new power systems considering distributed resources. Firstly, based on the inherent characteristics of the new power system, the challenges and technical bottlenecks in improving the flexibility of the new power system are analyzed. Secondly, following the historical-current-future timeline, this paper summarizes the flexibility improvement paths of the new power system from three perspectives:flexibility quantification evaluation, flexibility optimization scheduling, and flexibility configuration planning. Finally, the key challenges in enhancing the flexibility of new power systems are summarized from the three aforementioned aspects.
