Description
Summary:The interrogative style has been used in the Holy Quran as an effective rhetorical tool to attract attention. This style not only comes to seek knowledge and understanding through questioning, but also focuses the attention of the reader or listener, creates a state of thought and reflection in his mind, and sometimes leads him to change his feelings, emotions or behavior. Interrogative style in the Quran is never used for a real answer, but rather has rhetorical purposes such as surprise, rebuke, reproach, denial, speech, encouragement, reminder and warning, etc. The interrogative style creates a question in the mind of the listener and encourages him to find an answer; thus the verses of the Quran not only provide information but also awaken the reader's consciousness. This research paper analyzes the various styles of interrogative speech in the Holy Quran and their rhetorical and psychological effects and explains how this style was used to attract attention, stimulate thought, and reform society. The study concludes that interrogative speech plays a key role in making Quranic discourse more effective, meaningful, and influential.
