Summary:With over 118 members, the Non-Aligned Movement is a significant factor in contemporary international relations. It is an organization where the needs and positions of the majority of the mankind are articulated. The Republic of Serbia has renewed its membership in the Non-Aligned Movement and since XIII Conference of Heads of States or Governments that took place in February 2003 in Kuala Lumpur it has acted as an observer in this organization. The co-operation with non-aligned countries can contribute to strengthening of the international position of Serbia, thus expanding the possibilities for its acting with the purpose of achieving of its own interests. .
