description Currently, it is possible to identify that the convergence of innovation and sustainability has generated concepts such as: sustainable innovation, green innovation, and eco-innovation. From these definitions it is possible to recognize innovations that benefit the environment or minimize negative impacts on the planet. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to analyse the trajectory taken by academic and scientific research around the convergence of innovation and sustainability during the period 2017-2022. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using information from a database of 5,313 documents obtained from Scopus (including journal articles, book chapters and books). With this study, production and conceptual trajectories were identified, as well as conceptual networks that provide guidance on research trends in the field of sustainable innovation and eco-innovation. The results presented show a significant growth in academic production integrating innovation and sustainability as fields of study.
