Summary:The criminal process in Mexico has undergone a metamorphosis, becoming adversarial system of criminal justice, modification that was brewing for the high degree of dissatisfaction to the Mexicans with the delivery of Justice. Derived from these constitutionally reform, important innovations were created. Within this context of modification, in article 17 of the Constitution, establishing the obligation to legislate in the field of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, so it is not surprising that the criminal procedural system of application in all the country, such as the national code of criminal procedure provides for them. This paper part of the relevance of such mechanisms as a way to streamline the delivery of Justice and examines the existing mechanisms in this country, its scholar construction and its feasibility for the intended purposes. It is furtherance from the epistemology and hermeneutic legal methods, and as the main technique of supporting the review of literature. The above effect of elucidating the particularities of these mechanisms from legislative, jurisprudential and doctrinal perspectives epistemology and Hermeneutics we looking conclude if the essential efforts of the system of Justice for its implementation, are sufficient to minimize some shortcomings that reduce its effectiveness.
