| Summary: | Literatures of tea polyphenols (TP) amounts to 960 articles were collected from more than 7000 kinds of periodicals in China. The statistical calculation results showed that the amounts of TP literatures were increased continuously by 15% of average annual increasing rate in the last 13 years. There were 544 authors (first author) and 585 signed institutions in these TP literatures. 333 kinds of periodicals published TP literatures, which belong to the main journal groups of medical science, agriculture, foodstuff, chemical science, etc. The main specialty composition of these literatures was as follows: medical and hygienical sciences (478 articles), foodstuff and feedstuff sciences (159 articles）, agricultural science (122 articles) and others. The statistic analysis and discussion on the following aspects were also carried out in the paper: developing law of TP literatures, the composition and distribution of authors, institutions and periodicals, the composition and distribution of specialties and themes of TP literatures. |
