Cloning and sequencing of special seed protein (Leginsulin) gene in soybean Mlycine max

In order to analyze the structure of leginsulin gene in leguminous plant, the leginsulin gene in soybean was amplified and cloneded from genomic DNA. Comparison of the DNA sequence with that of cDNA showed that the cloned fragment was 841 bp in size and contained one intron of 368 bp in length exist...

Description
Summary:In order to analyze the structure of leginsulin gene in leguminous plant, the leginsulin gene in soybean was amplified and cloneded from genomic DNA. Comparison of the DNA sequence with that of cDNA showed that the cloned fragment was 841 bp in size and contained one intron of 368 bp in length existed in the code region of signal peptide; there was one nucleotide difference in the non-code region of 3′ termination, but no difference in the code region of leginsulin between the genomic DNA and cDNA sequence.
