Summary:In order to improve the reliability of the diesel locomotive’s AC auxiliary control system, this paper proposed a defensive design for AC auxiliary control system software based on signal acquisition sources and control object working modes, such as exception preventive handling, etc. Even in face of the abnormity of individual signal acquisition sources or failures of some control object working modes, the control system with the defensive design can still ensure the locomotive to continue running. The actual operation shows that the defensive design is very effective and it has strong engineering practicability.
