description Objective To investigate whether peritoneal dialysis catheter inserting improved method and reducing the incidence of PD-related complications and reduces improve the dialysis quality.Methods Shaanxi province people’s hospital nephrology department in October 2010 to October2012 with peritoneal dialysis catheter method improved after surgery,148 cases with ESRD(improved group,A group),and were chose in september 2008 to september 2010 in shaanxi province people’s hospital nephrology department adopts the traditional way of peritoneal dialysis catheter in patients with ESRD(traditional group,B group) 94 cases for control group.Observation of peritoneal dialysis catheter within a month:catheter displacement,catheter obstruction,catheter,abdomen again through early catheter techniques such as survival and hemorrhagic fluid leakage to drain fluid,complications such as peritonitis,were retrospectively analyzed.Results Improved group and traditional group in age,body mass index,urine volumeall,there were no significant difference.After surgery way to improve the postoperative catheter displacement,catheter obstruction and peritoneal dialysate leakage were significantly improed compared with traditional operation method(P<0.05),such as making technology causes as a result of the surgery of catheter rate were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Two groups between hemorrhagic dialysate,peritonitis,tunnel,tunnel mouth the incidence of infection and so on were no significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusions The improved insertion of PD catheters can reduce the incidence of the technical failure rate and PD-related complications and improve the dialysis quality.
