Mechanical Properties of Medical Bandage with Different Polyester/Polyurethane Ratios

With polyester and polyurethane filaments as raw materials, different medical bandages are produced with different polyester/polyurethane ratios(polyester/polyurethane ratios are 1∶0, 1∶1, 1∶2, 1∶9). The basic properties and mechanical properties of each bandage are tested, and the influence of poly...

description With polyester and polyurethane filaments as raw materials, different medical bandages are produced with different polyester/polyurethane ratios(polyester/polyurethane ratios are 1∶0, 1∶1, 1∶2, 1∶9). The basic properties and mechanical properties of each bandage are tested, and the influence of polyester/polyurethane ratio on fabric performance is analyzed. The results show that the breaking elongation and air permeability increase with the increase of the proportion of polyurethane. When the ratio of polyester/spandex is 1∶9, the breaking elongation, air permeability and elasticity of the sample are the best.
