| Summary: | This research is entitled (Handcraft Industries in Erbil Governorate 1975-1991) a historical-economic study, an attempt to identify the situation of handicraft industries in the province, which had its special importance in the development and progress of the region on the economic level. Professionals according to their experiences, and since ancient times, due to the presence of several social and economic characteristics in Erbil, and among the residents of the governorate there were professional people in various specializations, who had a role to meet the needs of the residents of the governorate.
The research consists of an introduction, two main topics, and several conclusions. Each axis includes several topics. The first topic focuses on craft industries and their types 1975-1991, while the second topic deals with the
obstacles and problems that affected the development of craft industries in Erbil Governorate 1975-1991.
