Description
Summary:In the cathodic protection system with common anode for multiple pipelines, the protection potentials of different pipeline positions are different. Under-protection at the end of long-distance pipeline and increasing current output can cause overprotection of other joint protection pipelines. In order to accurately obtain the real potential distribution status, the cathodic protection potential of multiple pipeline joint protection was simulated, and the influence of different anode ground bed layout on the cathodic protection potential of each pipeline was studied. Results showed that the simulated calculation results were in good agreement with the actual measurement results. The farther the distance between new anode and other cathodic protection system pipelines and anode was, the smaller the interference between cathodic protection systems was, and the more favorable to the uniform distribution of cathodic protection potential.
