Summary:Based on Pareto theory, the simulated annealing algorithm is a practical method to solve engineering problems which are multi-objective. The best result can be selected from the Pareto set, which is composed of optimization results, according to design requirement. Detent optimization is done by using simulated annealing algorithm. The aim of the optimal design is to minimum the heat of rub surface and the size of the detent so as to improve the reliability of break system and increase space for car design.
