description From September 1, 2006 to June 1, 2007, within the project "Development of victim support services in Serbia", Victimology Society of Serbia has conducted a survey on organizations in Serbia that are offering support to victims of crime. Aims of the survey were: to identify organizations that are supporting victims of crime either within state institutions and non-governmental organizations; to collect and analyze the data that might be useful for victims, and also to make directory of victim support services in Serbia. The sample encompassed 188 organizations from 55 towns in Serbia. The aim of this paper is point out, through the analysis of the data obtained through the survey, to which extent victims of crime in general, and of some forms of crime in particular can get support in Serbia, which organizations are offering support, what form of support and in which way. .
