| Summary: | As an important part of river management,river slope protection is a key measure to control soil erosion and non-point source pollution,implement flood control and waterlogging prevention,and improve the ecological environment of a water area.To overcome the limitations of traditional slope protection and ultimately achieve the comprehensive ecologicalization of slope protection,this paper approaches from the perspectives of slope protection forms,structures of aquatic organism habitats,and ecological corridor links and reviews the research and application status as well as remaining problems of ecological slope protection.In addition,it also summarizes the advantages of ecological slope protection in ecological protection and discusses the inadequacies in current river slope protection in light of available research.At last,future research directions for ecological slope protection are proposed.It is noted that more attention should be paid to the innovative development of ecological slope protection forms to provide a reference for the comprehensive ecologicalization of ecological slope protection. |
