Ramification of air pollution on extrinsic asthma: causation and severity

Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by variable airflow obstruction, bronchial hyperresponsiveness, and airway inflammation. description Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by variable airflow obstruction, bronchial hyperresponsiveness, and airway inflammation. Evidence suggests that air pollution has a negative impact on asthma outcomes in the population. Extrinsic asthma usually begins in childhood, and most patients have a prior history of allergic diseases such as rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and urticaria. This type of asthma is closely related to hypersensitivity to allergens such as house dust, pollen, molds, animal hair, and organic and chemical dust. Air pollution is a major environmental factor that can exacerbate asthma symptoms such as dyspnoea, cough, and wheezing and has been linked to an increased risk of developing asthma. This study aims to investigate the relationship between air pollution and extrinsic asthma, including how it can exacerbate asthma symptoms and the potential harmful effects on health.
