Description
Summary:In order to improve the control precision and response speed of UPQC, it presented a novel method for three-phase current harmonics and single-phase voltage sag detection based on the synchronous rotating coordinates. The controller detectes the voltage and current compensation instructions, and then combines the classical double-closed-loop control when compensating the harmonic current, and introduces the voltage current double-closed-loop control when voltage sag compensating. The prototype test results show that the response time to voltage sag suppression of the UPQC is less than 10 ms, voltage and current harmonic compensation rate is more than 90%, voltage and current THD are limited in the GB range, and the power factor maintains unity in the grid.
