Description
Summary:The present study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Cyber Bullying Scale for Adolescents (CYB-AGS) in Peruvian adolescents. A total of 688 Peruvian high school students from the coast, mountains and jungle of Peru completed the CYB-AGS (mean age = 14.68 ± 1.52 years, males = 54.94%). The factor structure was determined by exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). An internal consistency analysis and a multi-group CFA analysis were also performed. A two-factor model with optimal goodness-of-fit indices was reported [CFI = 0.987; TLI = 0.985; SRMR = 0.05; RMSEA = 0.041]. In addition, the model reported an Omega index greater than 0.75 in both factors and invariance between sex groups was tested with ΔCFI and ΔRMSEA values <0.01. Conclusions: The study confirmed the two-factor structure and invariance between sexes of the CYB-AGS for Peruvian adolescents.
