| Summary: | The kinetics of the formation and growth of regular domain structure (RDS) in a high-frequency electric field has been considered in the framework of the phenomenological Ginzburg-Landau model using the example of lithium tantalite (LiTaO3) crystals that undergo a second-order ferroelectric phase transition of the order-disorder type. The numerical analysis was made due to the nonlinearity of resulting equation, and showed the opportunity of the formation of monodomain and polydomain ordering conditions and intermediate asymmetrical «virtual» polydomain structures. It was established by numerical calculations that there is some threshold frequency of the electric field, above which the system evolve to the polydomain type of ordering. It has been shown that the symmetrical thermodynamically stable RDS forms under high frequencies. |
