| Summary: | An elderly male patient clinically presented with painful nodules over the trunk which progressed to involve limbs over 2 months. On examination, there were multiple bluish-red subcutaneous nodules with the local rise of the temperature. Clinically, we have considered the following conditions such as lupus panniculitis, erythema nodosum, and other causes for panniculitis. Finally, histopathological examination revealed classical findings suggestive of subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma which was confirmed by immunohistochemistry. It was a challenging case to diagnose clinically, it needs a high index of suspicion to diagnose early and manage effectively. The patient was started on cyclophosphamide, hydroxyurea, oncovin, and prednisolone therapy. |
